went on a quick getaway with the sis to batam. super fun! went on a thurs to beat the weekend crowd and we had the place all to ourselves. ok technically not, there were a bunch of japanese tourists, all male in their mid 40s that would immediately crowd around the pool whenever we got out.. we guess it was to stare at boobs. so we went shopping, the spa, shopping, go kart, air rifle, kayaking, cycling, bowling and had lotsa home-made mocha kek lapis. divine! our cabby recommended it.
